Silver Wind carries the proportions of a serious ISA build without losing the ease that makes a 44-metre yacht comfortable to actually live on for a week. Five cabins sleep up to 11 guests, a layout that suits two or three families sharing, or a group who want private cabins rather than a dormitory-style split. The beach-club platform is the natural centre of gravity on board — a low, sheltered spot to step straight into the water rather than clamber down a ladder — while the sundeck spa gives the upper deck its own separate rhythm, away from the main saloon and guest cabins below.

Based out of Sardinia, Silver Wind is well suited to the Costa Smeralda run between Porto Cervo, Porto Rotondo and Cala di Volpe, where the coastline is villa-lined and the bays are calm enough for swimming stops without much sea state to manage. She's equally at home on a day out to the Maddalena Archipelago's granite islands and sheltered anchor fields, which sit within easy day-cruising range of Porto Cervo or Palau — useful when guests want protected water for swimming rather than open coastline. Cruising at around 17 knots, she covers these routes without the trip itself becoming the main event of the day.
